The Baltimore County Electrical Contractor’s Association was founded on August 26th 1948 and Incorporated on May 11th 1949
Over the years we have continued to offer our members support, new product demonstrations, up to date code information, continuing education and support to apprenticeship programs.

As of January 1st, 2026, we have become the MD Electrical Contractors and Electrical Inspectors Association (MDECIA) as we were approached in early 2025 by the NFPA to join forces with them to become the Maryland Sub Chapter.
That being said, we intend to reach beyond Baltimore County and go all through Maryland providing continuous support and education for our fellow trade members and community.
